<![CDATA[Hair decisions! ]]>Fri, 14 Aug 2015 17:16:46 GMThttp://rosagray.weebly.com/blog/hair-decisions
This is the longest I have ever gone without coloring my hair! For years my hair was constantly changing it has been almost every color of the rainbow!
This past year I shaved off my hair after trying to dye it white and leaving the bleach on way too long and causing my hair to fall out. this year my hair recovered and has grown past my shoulders. Now I feel the need to do something different with it and i am having a hard time deciding what to do with it. If you follow me on pintrest you know that I love extreme hair styles and lots of color. Help me decide on which cut/color to do!

<![CDATA[You are what you eat!]]>Wed, 12 Aug 2015 16:12:04 GMThttp://rosagray.weebly.com/blog/you-are-what-you-eat
You already know that filling your diet with power foods—like dark leafy greens, dark chocolate, citrus—can help beat chronic conditions like heart disease and diabetes. But did you know that certain foods can also work wonders on your problem areas of your skin? I used to have loads of redness and flaking itchy skin. I was super embarrassed about it and did some research online. This chart is pretty much what i have sworn by these past few months and I can total see the results! I feel amazing and my
skin has never looked so good!

<![CDATA[Make up with me!]]>Wed, 12 Aug 2015 16:08:32 GMThttp://rosagray.weebly.com/blog/make-up-with-me I get asked how I get my every day look all the time. It’s a retro inspired look with my signature red lipstick and cat eye eyeliner but its pretty basic and it takes me about 15 minutes to perfect while my hair is drying in the morning. Some times I add things like gloss or fake eyelashes but this is the routine I tend to stick to. I hope this helps!

1. Moisturize Use a lightweight moisturizer about five minutes before applying your base, allowing it to absorb into the skin better.

2. Apply a makeup base My favorite film quality foundations to help achieve velvety radiant skin. Apply a small dime-sized amount all over your face with a foundation brush or sponge.
3. Eyebrows Using a very stiff angled lining brush, dip your brush in a tiny amount of waterproof cream and gently draw a thin line across the top following your natural brow line outward. Fill in with powder.
4. Eye shadow apply a medium slate grey shadow over the entire lid. Lighten the grey in the middle of your lid by shimmery white powder then apply a dark grey shadow to the crease of your eyelid and blend up.
5. Eyeliner Apply black eyeliner and to the top of her eyes. Using a fine angled lining brush and black liquid of cake liner, draw a very narrow line going from the top inner corner of your lid at lash line and gently go outward to the end of the lid. Then with your eyes open, gently flick the liquid lining brush in an up and outward direction. This creates little cat eye effect.
6. Mascara Apply a coat or two of black mascara to the lashes (both real and false). Remember to apply the mascara to just the top lashes.
9. Blush Think high drama and contour. Using an angled blush brush, apply a darker flesh tone tan color underneath your cheekbones brushing the blush at an upward angle and out. This will help define your cheekbone area. Then using a larger blush brush, sweep a softer light rose color across your actual cheekbones, in an up and outward motion.
10. Lips. When applying your lip liner, line your lips slightly on the outside of your natural lip line top and bottom, making your lips appear fuller. Remember to draw a very defined “Cupid’s Bow” on your top lip, but do not over draw the Cupid’s bow above your natural one. Choosing the color for your lip liner. Then with the lip liner, gently brush the liner pencil over the entire lip coloring in as much as you can. After that, gently brush translucent powder over your lips to set the color. You will then proceed with your lipstick color.

For those of you who don't know...Lolita is a Japanese street fashion inspired primarily by the clothing and general aesthetics of the Rococo and Victorian periods. This fashion movement started in Japan in the 1980’s and has evolved greatly since. Nowadays Lolita Fashion has grown to be relatively popular all over the world. Relatively popular for an obscure Japanese street fashion, that is.

This is super simple to sign up for and the birthday gifts are fantastic! I have received Sugar lip gloss a makeup forever kit and smash box mini trial set! This year we supposedly get a mini Nars set that i will probably review later.
I have been a fan of Aveda products eve since I over dyed my hair by bleaching it to death. I thought I just going to have to cut off all of my hair and cry myself to sleep but then the lovely ladies at the Aveda boutique saved the day with some product information and a free birthday mini hair balm kit! Every year the is something new to look forward to from Aveda.
Ive never actually used the freebie coupon for Bare minerals. I have never been super exited about the brand because the foundation irritates my skin but I do like there eyeshadow. I looked up whats in the birthday freebie and it looks awesome so this year I'm definitely going to use the coupon!
Who doesn't love nail polish! Its so colorful and a fun way to add to your beauty routine. I kind of take it over the top and horde nail polish like its never going to be made again ever. I try to clean out my box of nail polishes every few months and add some new seasonal colors. The Birthday coupon from Peninsula Beauty is a great way to get a cute new Essie polish. Speaking of which i need a pedicure.....
