Recently I was asked to recommended a few restaurants to some family that was visiting the bay area. I struggled on what to recommend. There are so many amazing restaurants all over the bay and enough choices to please any pallet. looking over the best places to eat in San Francisco Bay Area I came up with a few that i go to time and time again to discover new favorites and enjoy old comforts. Enjoy!
Crema - Best cup of coffee in the south bay
It’s the best place to take a book find a comfy chair (near the windows) and enjoy a hot late. The staff knows how to make a good cup a Joe and will go out of their way to make you happy. I personally love the hot soy chi latte and big breakfast sandwiches. Can’t wait to go back!

Bumble - the ultimate brunch for families
This quaint little gray and yellow building is full of big surprises. The restaurant and café is the perfect place for a Mommy and me outing. Tailored made for families with stroller parking, lovely play areas for children, and delightful ambiance! This restaurant is a mix of classic and playful with a organic menu to match. I recommend the tea service for 2 and the almond milk macchiato.Nestled in downtown Los Alto’s Bumble’s breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner are always a treat.

la bodeguita del medio - palo alto Date night
The food is smells amazing as you walk in the restaurant from its hole in the wall entrance. The ambiance is wonderful with soft flickering candles and Cuban inspired music in the background! This is the perfect place for a romantic date night or a girls night out. Be sure to order the empanadas as they are divine and grab a signature mojito while you are at it!

Dish Dash- best Mideastern
This restaurant is right in Downtown Sunnyvale and there are plenty of outside seating. With extensive menu full of exotic-sounding dishes, I looked forward to finally venturing beyond and exploring the Mideastern inspired dishes! I recommend the Beriani Dajaj ($15) with its thinly sliced chicken breast, soft potatoes, raisins, and garbanzo beans. The best part however is the aged yogurt sauce that it rests in!
